“There are an estimated 100 million people worldwide who need mobility and cannot afford a wheelchair,” according to Chairthelove.org. “Some rely on family members to carry them from room to room, others drag themselves through the dirt and many others aren’t even that fortunate.

Chair The Love was created to change that.

From its inception in 2015 and through its 501(c)3 designation in 2017, Chair The Love has been helping provide wheelchairs and other mobility related items and services to those in need in Central Florida and throughout the world.”

And now they are generously providing wheelchairs to Seminole County Public School students.

The Student Support Services department, on behalf of Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS), is thrilled to accept a donation of 85 wheelchairs from Chair The Love to provide the gift of mobility to their SCPS students.

Thanks to this generous donation, SCPS will be able to place one wheelchair in every school clinic district-wide. An additional chair will be made available for student support to the athletic department at each SCPS high school. The chairs will be utilized to support students with physical disabilities in accessing their classrooms, campuses, and provide safe support while being transported to and from school.

Chair The Love is a local charity located in Longwood, FL. They are a 501(c)(3)
whose mission is to provide wheelchairs and mobility related items and services to
those in need locally and abroad. Through the generosity of corporate and individual
donors, Chair The Love has been able to provide wheelchairs and more to thousands
of individuals. For more information, please visit: www.chairthelove.org
