The American Muslim Community Center (AMCC), in partnership with the Seminole County Health Dept., serves neighbors during the holy month of Ramadan through use of their free mobile clinic

Central Florida’s American Muslim community will pray for our nation and serve their neighbors by conducting free COVID-19 testing this Saturday, May 09.
“We have been working along with Seminole County Health Department to do mobile COVID-19 testing every week,” says Dr. Shakil Ahmed, AMCC Chairman. “Now we will take our mobile clinic to Iglesia Cristiana Hispana, a local church in Casselberry. We will offer more than 400 COVID-19 tests. Our mission is to provide healthcare services to those who cannot afford such services, especially during the current crisis.”
The AMSS mobile healthcare clinic will offer 400 to 500 free COVID-19 tests this Saturday, May 09 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Iglesia Cristiana Hispana Church. The church is located at 1643 Disciples Point, Casselberry, FL 32707. The Seminole County Health Department will advertise this event to raise public awareness that these tests are available to members of the church.
Doctors using the AMSS mobile healthcare clinic also offered free COVID-19 testing and clinical visits this past Saturday, May 02 to residents of the Recovery House in Sanford.
AMCC runs a free charity clinic in Longwood at 588 Wilma St. They provide free medical care to people who are uninsured, less fortunate and do not have means to see a healthcare provider.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and stay-at-home orders, the AMCC recognized that a lot of people are losing jobs and health insurance and they have seen an increasing number of such patients at their Longwood facility. In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan to help suffering individuals fight this deadly pandemic, they are working with the Seminole County Health Department to screen and test 400 to 500 patients for COVID-19 free of cost.
Their free mobile clinic, which takes healthcare to the deserving communities, homeless shelters and churches, is ready and standing by to serve individuals in need at their doorsteps.
