Representative Stephanie Murphy, District 7, is hosting a virtual Service Academy Information Session on Sept. 23 for parents and students.
Whether students are interested in attending U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy in New London, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at Annapolis, the U.S. Naval Academy at Kings Point, or the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Colorado Springs, this virtual information session will give a chance for them, and their parents, to will learn about the educational opportunities in these academies, as well as the ins and outs of the application process for these prestigious institutions, including congressional nominations.
Representatives from all five service academies will be in attendance.
The Virtual Service Academy Information Session will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m.
Every year, Rep. Murphy is honored to nominate students from Central Florida to serve our country at one of these prestigious institutions. Murphy encourage all eligible students from her district who are interested in attending any one of these U.S. service academies to join her at this event to get more information about the nominating process for the upcoming school year.
