Summer Camps 2019

The 4-H Veterinary Summer Camp is coming to Sanford this June for residents of Seminole County. This five-day summer camp will expose teens to a variety of careers in the fields of Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Animal Science, and S.T.E.M.
Each day of camp will focus on a different specialty in Veterinary Medicine; days include small animals/shelter medicine, livestock, equine medicine, exotics, and a career day at the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Youth will also participate in hands-on skills labs including reading medication labels, injections, fecal floats, breed identification, and suturing.
Emphasis will be on youth learning about various careers in Veterinary Medicine and gaining an interest in science.
